We had a great Thanksgiving. We gathered at the newest Adams household in Fayetteville and had a feast. Best part, it was at someone else's house. We had our own little turkey so we could enjoy many, many Turkey sandwiches.
We know it is close to Christmas, The Mountaineers are in the playoffs again, going for their 4th straight FCS Title. They defeated South Carolina State yesterday, 36-21. Don't let the score fool you, it was much closer than it appears. We watched the game with no commercials, thanks to the technology of DVR.
The Recruit and The Girlfriend are winding down their trip to Chicago. They return to North Carolina tomorrow (Monday). Pretty soon it will be fun in the sun of basic training in Texas. Could be worse, he could be going in the summer.
We did not go out and shop on Black Friday, we decorated and shopped online. Free shipping is a good thing.
