Keep a Smile on Your Face
Here is my take on Sunday Stills Challenge - Things with Wings.
Not my planes, just an event near-by that we enjoy watching. Busy week last week and this one is starting just as busy.

I do believe I exceeded the 3 in tri colors for Sunday Stills Challenge. Ed said the more colors the better.
I have three pictures, starting with tins on our shelf in the kitchen, followed by two differing views of Bailey's Frisbee collection - note the lack of teeth marks. These are from the stash.

Our heat index is a cool 105 right now. The dogs don't even want to stay outside. I got all of my yard work done this morning. Stayed in the shade the whole time and sweated like a pig.
How to cool off - run around like a fool, jump in pool, lay down in pool, get out and stand in front of fan.
Armywife made a great lunch and that was it for the afternoon. Just waiting to see if any storms get stirred up in this heat.

Armywife and I drove around town and found a couple of water towers. Not to many silos in these parts. We found this old one next to an old smokestack in an older part of Fayetteville. The second shot couldn't be left out. It has our hometown nicely painted for all to see. For more photos, go to Sunday Stills.
Sorry, I've been down with the flu/cold thing most of the week. Dug into achieves for this gem. I call this Kitty TV. More better pictures as they say, over at Sunday Stills - Silhouettes.
Joined a local photo club this past week and went to a meeting yesterday. I put in a plug for Sunday Stills for challenges and fun, not to mention the great shots that appear there every week.

I had to run to drop an important birthday card in the mail last week and just by chance took my camera with me. On the way home I caught this sunset. Getting to a high enough point was a challenge unto itself. I almost lost the entire sunset getting to this spot. After you take your eyes from the clouds and the reflection of the sun, note the traffic lights and cars in the lower area. Normally I would crop that out, but since the challenge was capturing those things - here they are.

What comes after a hard morning of helping me trim azaleas, shrubs, wild branches, etc. A dip in your "dog" pool and ice cream. Actually it is dog ice cream from WalMart. Armywife brought me a "Drumstick" and the pups got their own cup. It was very quiet in the backyard for a good 15 minutes or so, while the dogs enjoyed their treat. That made up for the couple of times they wandered off in the back 40 checking out the swamp pond and other assorted areas that are out of sight.
Armywife and I also played with the camera (get your minds out of the gutter) and shot about 200 pictures today. I deleted a fair amount once I downloaded them. We even managed a bug shot for Cauzie and a caught a Blue Bird checking out the houses in our yard. The bug shot is going on photobucket for those of you that are interested in that.
I've been off for the last couple of days to catch up on some yard work. Back to the work 20 tomorrow, but it is only for two days!
Keep a Smile On Your Face and if you come and help in the yard, I'll let you have ice cream too.
Choices, choices, choices. This was my favorite, one of Armywife's many quilts. I also included a mosaic of other "yellow" shots. There are some excellent photos to view on Sunday Stills Challenge.
Have to go finish the tea. I put a Memphis Rub (homemade) on some ribs. We are going to have them later with potato salad, deviled eggs, baked beans and coconut something or other cake.
Keep a Smile on Your Face - Have a safe and happy Memorial Day.
